My name is Jonathan Keith Burroughs a.k.a. Master Keith. I was born on December 14th, 1980 in Hartford, Connecticut. My family moved to Huntsville, Alabama when I was six years old in the the Summer of 1986 and I have resided here for the past 32 years.

What got me into my career is a love of martial arts. Watching movies starring Bruce Lee,  Jackie Chan and other stars, as well as movies like "Big Trouble in Little China" & "The Last Dragon" sparked the interest.  Soon I enrolled and studied under Grandmaster Otis Burwell of Burwell's Martial Arts, where I achieved my 4th Dan Master rank. I decided to move on after working with and for Grandmaster Burwell after 17+years to start Global Olympic after seeing how he has touched lives and inspired others to live their dreams and go forward.

What I enjoy most about the Martial Arts is that is gives people confidence, mental strength and & focus, as well as changing peoples lives for the better and developing lifelong relationships with people. I'm still recognized to this day, from students I helped teach under Grandmaster Burwell as well as having strong friendships with my peers from then.

What sets me apart from other martial arts schools is mainly my atmosphere. My students enjoy coming to class, learning effective techniques as well as being around other students

whom want to learn, show respect and develop friendships.

My biggest desire in life is to make Global Olympic one of the top quality martial arts schools in Alabama, as well a be a positive guiding force for people of all ages!
